6th Grade Camp
Hastings Middle School offers a 6th grade camp experience for students each fall that allows them to get to know their new classmates and teachers, and participate in learning and skill-building opportunities outside of the classroom. This is a great time for students to challenge themselves to try new things, meet new people and experience nature.
Sixth grade camp is not mandatory, but we encourage all students to attend as this is an opportunity to have a shared experience with the classmates with whom they will be spending the school year.
We want to provide a camp experience that is inclusive for all students. If you have any questions about how this might look for your child, please ask!
2025 Camp Information
All sixth grade students are invited to attend the 6th grade Outdoor Camp Program, which will take place for three days and two nights at the Nuhop Center for Experiential Learning in the Mohican State Forest. The dates are as follows:
September 10-12: House BLACK
September 15-17: House GOLD
August 13 - Fall Parent Meeting in HMS Auditorium from 6-7PM

August 21: Camp forms and payment ($290 in PaySchools Central) due
